Mac version requires Mac OS 8.6-9.2 or Mac OS X 10-10.4 (PowerPC). Windows version requires Windows 95 or newer. This edition, the Enhanced Educator Version, was released in 2002 and intended for schools and includes an Explore Mode, which was not present in the mass-market version of the game.
